The Tarbosaurus is a carnivorous Cretaceous dinosaur that can grow up to be 10-12 meters long. They are smaller than the Tyrannosaurus, but are some of the largest tyrannosaurids. The word "Tarbosaurus" means "alarming lizard," and these alarming lizards lived in Asia before extinction. Their fossils were discovered in Mongolia by humans long after that. They are extremely closely related to some other tyrannosaurids. such as the Tyrannosaurus.
