The King Cobra is the largest venomous snake that can grow to be up to 5.6 meters long. They live in Southeast Asia and some areas of India. King Cobras are best known for the large "hood" on their necks, which they can retract.

Diet Edit

King Cobras eat smaller snakes, and may live for months after eating a large meal since they don't digest food very fast.

Egg laying Edit

The female builds a nest, which she puts 20-40 eggs into. She then stays there and defends the eggs until they hatch.
