Galapagos Land Iguanas eat insects, centipedes, carrion, and the fruit, flowers, pads, and spines of the prickly-pear cactus.

Reproduction[]

After mating, the females migrate to a sandy area to nest and lay eggs. She lays 2-25 eggs in a burrow that is 18 inches deep. From 90-125 days later, the eggs hatch.
