The Ornithomimus is an omnivorous Cretaceous dinosaur that was probably nocturnal. They lived in North America and got their name from the word "ornit," which means "bird." The name "Ornithomimus" means "bird mimic" and were named that because they had a very bird-like head, bear a resemblance to the ostrich, and are very likely to have had feathers. They have a maximum size of about 3.5 meters long.
