Diet

Carnivorous

The ball python is an African python snake that usually doesn't grow to be over 3-3.9 feet long. They have large, stocky bodies and relatilvely small, bottle-shaped heads. When stressed, they curl up into a ball, which gives them their name.

Diet[]

They eat small mammals when living in the wild, while pythons imported from the wild are usually picky eaters. Captive pythons usually do well with rats and mice for their diet.

Reproduction[]

The females lay 3-11 eggs, which are rather large and are very leathery. They incubate their eggs for 55-60 days, then the eggs hatch.
